The flat roof mounting system VarioTwin® on RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR rails – ideal for light-weight constructions

Rheine, August 1, 2018: In June this year, the Solardirekt Energy GmbH & Co. KG from Rheine and the RENOTLIT SE, based in Worms, joined forces for their first common project. On the flat roof of the car wash plant Dream Carwash in Arnsberg, Sauerland, the VarioTwin 4.0® module carriers have been installed without ballast for the first time ever.

Altogether 350 pieces of VarioTwin 4.0 were mounted on the extruded plastic profile RENOLIT ALKORSOLAR which in turn was hot-air welded on the roof sheeting beneath (foil sheets). The patented assembly system RENOLIT holds the general building inspection approval of the German Institute of Civil Engineering (DIBt) and has been tested at wind speeds of over 200km/h.
